Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This policy explains how Devizor Pty Ltd (ABN 42 680 207 185) ("Devizor", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit devizor.com, contact us, book a consultation, apply for a role, or work with us.
We are based in Perth, Western Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, and the message you send.
- Consultation bookings: your name, email address, the time you book, and any answers you give when booking.
- Live chat and email: anything you send us in a chat or email conversation.
- Job applications: your resume, cover letter, and contact details, if you apply for a role.
- Clients: the business and contact details we need to quote, deliver, and invoice a project.
You don't have to give us your personal information. You can browse the site without telling us who you are. But we can't reply to an enquiry without a way to contact you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Usage information: the pages you view, links and buttons you click, how you got to the site, and how long you stay.
- Device information: your browser, operating system, screen size, approximate location (city or country, based on your IP address), and IP address.
We use this to understand which pages are useful, fix problems, and improve the site. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
Cookies and analytics
We use the following tools on this site. Some of them set cookies or use similar browser storage.
- PostHog (product analytics). Records how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and clicks. It may also record session replays (a playback of how a page was used). Anything you type into form fields is masked and not recorded. Data is stored in the United States.
- Vercel Analytics (website analytics). Counts page views and measures site performance. It does not use cookies.
- HubSpot (live chat). Powers the chat widget. It sets cookies so that a conversation continues between pages and visits.
- Calendly (bookings). Loads only when you open the booking window.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although live chat may not remember earlier conversations.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- reply to enquiries and arrange consultations
- prepare quotes, deliver projects, and send invoices
- assess job applications
- run, secure, and improve the website
- meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We will only send you marketing emails if you've asked to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:
- Vercel: website hosting
- FormSubmit: delivers contact form messages to our inbox
- Calendly: consultation scheduling
- HubSpot: live chat
- PostHog: website analytics
- Our email, accounting, and file storage providers
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the providers above store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. When we use overseas providers, we choose established services with their own privacy and security commitments, and we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Client projects
When we build a website, app, or integration for a client, we may handle personal information about that client's own customers or users. In that case we act on the client's behalf and follow their instructions and our agreement with them. Questions about that information should go to the business that collected it.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it:
- Enquiries that don't become projects: up to 2 years.
- Client and invoicing records: at least 5 years, as required by Australian tax law.
- Job applications: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Analytics data: according to each provider's retention settings.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
How we protect it
We use reputable providers with encryption in transit, restrict access to people who need it, and use strong authentication on our accounts. No system is completely secure, but if a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct information that is wrong or out of date
- delete your information, where we're not required to keep it.
Email hello@devizor.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you also have rights under the GDPR, including to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.
